Rutherford not hosing ASR - so who will step up

Anonymous

A lot of people complained about Rutherford (thank you for hosting) and it was probably less than ideal. They had the space for all the teams but lacked cell service and lights. Parking was challenging as well.

Whoever hosts, NVSL should support with not only bleachers but construction lights so that the meet can be held. Last year, the storms passed but it was too dark to hold the meet. Which pool will step up or should?

meh. I'm fine with just divisional relays.

The pools that send the most swimmers should host.

I love Little Rocky Run. Not our home pool but such a nice facility with a school next door.

Could they split boys and girls? Just wondering if there are ways to re work this event.

make one of the top D1 teams do something. They take over all the seating may as well make them host.

ASR is the worst. It's on a weeknight/tough for parents who work, logistical nightmare for pools, it always storms and it's just a pissing match for D1 teams. Totally fine with this one going away.

We are on a D1 team and I agree. We should just let the times from divisionals stand and rank accordingly across NVSL — just like the COVID year.

Totally agree with above. D1 - D3 team hosts or just skip it.

I almost passed out last year from the heat. It is the worst.

OKM came in hot with their attitude last summer. Let them host.

I don't know that they could. Small parking lot and no close community parking.
