Do you live in a major city? I do, and I hear lots of languages other than English all the time. The fact that they're not speaking English doesn't mean it wasn't in the US. Not to mention that you can see that it says UCLA in the video.

Cops have a job to do, they would like to sit at home with their families but here we are. I agree with the students for their right to protest but there is no need to take it out on the cops, they are there to do their job.

Better that NYPD handle this than the National Guard. This echos the desegregation era of the Deep South, when white students protested to prevent black students from entering. Eventually, the national guard was deployed. We should not wait for things to get to that point. The police should use all of their authorities to restore order and protect the civil rights of all students, so that Jewish students and professors aren't told they can't be protected and should attend school remotely. This is a national disgrace, Jim Crow 2 0 in NYC.
