Her mentor was the AAG who signed off on his sweetheart plea. She was having an affair with his criminal defense attorney. She gave him legal advice on taking minors across state lines to have sex with them. She told him that he was too controversial to give a WH tour to. She had a conversation with him about sending Russian girls to a prospective employer. |
| I suspect when all is said and Ruemmeler and Maxwell will be the only people doing time and face repercussions. No men in the U.S. will face consequences. |
It is so crazy that this woman is GC for Goldman Sachs! |
How and why would Goldman continue to employed her? Does she reflect the firm's standards in terms of judgment, integrity and lawfulness? She must. It's a good look, Goldman. |
She's the person in charge of their reputational risk and code of conduct! |

I’ve cited some but not all of this. This is crazy laid out like this. I don’t care if she is held accountable before others. Ro Khanna has started reading redacted names on the House floor. Jamie Raskin has publicly said Trump’s in the released cache 1,000,000 times. This will take time. A company we’re supposed to regard as the platinum bank has a GC who merrily gave advice to a predator for a fkn bag and offered White House tours, likely without the knowledge of then President Obama. Are you kidding me with the fkn hand-wringing over unfairness or “feminism yay” with this? Fk that. |
She wasn't even at the WH when the tour was arranged. She asked "Lisa" for that favor. I wonder who Lisa is and whether Lisa knew that she was doing a favor for Epstein. And while we're at it, why was her potential nomination for AG shut down? The cover story - her friendship with Obama made confirmation difficult - is implausible. Somebody knew about Epstein is my guess. You're totally right about the feminism canard someone keeps throwing out. I assume it's part of her PR strategy. Ruemmler, as far as we know, did nothing illegal. She was/is just morally reprehensible. |
Who is throwing around the feminism angle? Haven’t seen it |

Apparently she and Lisa Monaco are close friends. https://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/27/us/presidents-counsel-finds-herself-center-state.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share |
Oh my my. The tour included the situation room which is not at all standard. Ambitious amoral friends will be the death of us all. Dear congressional staffer friends: There is most certainly a paper trail of this incident. The system for tours like this is relatively automated but does require someone, with clearance, to request. The records will be with both the WH and the Secret Service. |

Dear Alice and Lisa,
Your butter faced friend done effed up. Bigly. |
I think it's time we accept that this IS Goldman Sachs. They hire power brokers and are showing their corrupt asses. I remember being at State when idiotic Dina Powell came there as Asst. Secretary in Educational and Cultural Affairs with almost zero experience except being some Congressional intern/Presidential personnel and coptic Christian darling during the GWOT "Muslim World Outreach" disaster. She went to Goldman right after, which I was when I realized that competence and ethics weren't the point, just connections. |
Former State - I immediately knew this was Lisa Monaco. Total B. Birds of a feather... |
