Are people making a big deal about Beyonce's ending to her half time performance with a "bang" sign and gesture? I couldn't tell if she was gesturing toward the Ravens.
Not a fan of the Ravens or the Oilers. Go KC Chiefs! |
| I’ve seen lots of takes on the show but not heard this one. |
| I thought it was a stunning performance!!! I LOVE marching band and it was so great she had TSU students perform. It was just all about performance, amazing music and dancing, minimal set. Who cares if it ended with a bang and a pistol gesture with fingers? This is like little kid play stuff. Only someone trying to take offense would take it as violence, especially since she was very much up there as this gorgeous Texas Barbie and all pure joy and fun! |
| I haven’t heard anything about this. My main takeaway was that it was kind of embarrassing for a celebrity of Beyonce’s level to perform halftime at a normal, non-Superbowl game |
| Did you see the score? Would have been the most ineffective gesture ever, lol. |
| First I've heard of this. I liked the performance. |
+1 lol |
Dolly Parton performed at the Cowboys game too, for Thanksgiving a couple years ago. |
| Beyoncé was awesome! It was a great halftime show. |
| So Jay-Z trotted her out for Carter family good will? Nice. |

I love how she had four other black female country singers with her. I know that was an incredible experience for them. And of course, Blue Ivy killed it dancing by Beyonce's side. I can see the difference in her confidence from performing with Bey on tour. I also loved the Black cowboys doing the trick of standing on the horses.

There is no way she could have been gesturing toward the Ravens as they were all in the locker room preparing to crush the Texans. |
I can't stand Jay Z (never liked him). I can respect Beyonce as a performer and as an artist. Not sure why you have to see one of the most successful artists on earth through her dh at all. They are separate people. |
| It was a cowboy theme. Smh |
| The band was incredible! |
