I know people love the idea of punishing men, but the biological fact is that men & women are different. Men can’t get pregnant, period.
I don’t agree with all of these abortion restrictions, but some people seem to be thinking outside reality with their desire for not only fairness but also retribution against males. I’m female, FWIW.

Stiff penalty for irresponsible ejaculation. Jail time and sterilization.

Cute. Maybe you missed the part about practical and legal. What constitutes irresponsible? Sterilization? Really?

cute. maybe you missed the part where women are practically, and soon legally, being denied an abortion?

Sterilization is absolutely the most rational option for many women and men. We don’t care what they do to their bodies as long as they have no ability to reproduce.

Why are so many people who are pro choice also very pro government regulation of individual's rights to guns, keep their money (less taxes), anti school choice, against letting religious Americans who own business make a choice in who they bake a wedding cake for... I could go on. Only libertarians are consistently pro-choice and pro freedom. Rest of y'all are hypocrites.

Libertarianism is the white man’s privilege.

We have been through this movie before. Pregnancies will be terminated. Always have and always will. It can be safe and legal or unsafe and illegal but it will remain a choice one way or another.

Options to assist couples struggling to concieve may be curtailed. All the embyos don't make it and becoming a murderous criminal on top of struggling with infertility is a very bitter pill to swallow.

But assisted reproduction will also likely continue one way or another. God has given woman great ability to exert some control their reproductive lives and she won't easily take that power away.

Charge the father half of all the costs incurred by the woman being forced to carry the pregnancy to term -- from conception through college graduation. No exceptions, funds automatically deducted from his wages.

Because all of the men are (1) likely not to be employed or in an on the books job where wages can be garnished; (2) are not earning enough money to pay meaningful support ( from student to low image earner); (3) could be responsible for multiple children and cannot support them; (4) might want custody of child if forced to support.

And paying for college? Stop looking at this through your privileged lens. This is a way for reluctant men to take financial responsibility, not a DMV divorce negotiation.

There are no atheists in foxholes or among the pro abortion.

that's dumb. libertarians are perfectly happy with plenty of law and regulation. you just draw arbitrary lines at what constitutes personal freedom.

Lots of people are not black and white on this stuff. In fact, most. You could argue that someone who wants control over their own body is exercising the most personal right of all. It is not hypocritical to want to choose what happens to your own body, yet be for taxes and regulation of pesticides, drugs, etc. I don't get your logic at all.

Conservatives are idiots if they think restrictive abortion will lead to a more conservative electorate and future.

What if a woman wants to keep the baby but a man wants her to get an abortion?

Her body. Her choice.

Men voted to take abortion right from women in Georgia. Why? Because abortion gives women control of their bodies, reducing male power over women.
Abortion rights are about power.
If anti-abortion folk cared about life and babies and preventing unwanted pregnancies, why have they not sunk millions into research for perfect, safe birth control?
They don’t care about eliminating unwanted pregnancies, and thus the need for abortion.
Most anti-abortion rights folk are opposed to birth control too.
No one gives up power willingly. Men who support abortion do so because it increases their power at the expense of women.
The Catholic Church, run by childless men, opposed abortion. It uses religion to inflame emotion about the issue. But it’s about keeping women in their place, out of the Catholic power structure. The Catholic Church opposes birth control too. Crazy in 2019, but only completely brainwashed or too poor to afford birth control followers of the Catholic faith follow that dictum.
Abortion rights are about power. Nothing else.

Courts have ruled otherwise.

This. Sorry baby killers.
Busy Phillips dodging the question about infants who are born after surviving abortion should be all you need to know about the murderous left.
