| why does anyone want anything to do with this club and these people? seriously. |
was this MM or VL? |
they both did this to some extent but VL's was a little more aggressive. |
No pathway and no players! |
Correct. And our offers for NVA aspire are for $4000. |
| Riverbend is charging 4k!?!?! |
That’s ridiculous. Plenty of other Aspire clubs for a lot less than that. |
It’s $3k plus club fees for Aspire. Loudoun is charging $2800 plus club fees, so comparable. |
that's crazy for what equates to a C or D team for Loudoun/NVA - seems to be NVA GA is their priority, followed by Loudoun GA, then not sure how they're ranking NVA/Loudoun Aspire teams but if NVA is mostly being made up of players from Loudoun East/Riverbend it's probably really more like their 4th team. |
| Could we say WINTER IS COMING for Riverbend? |
| winter has come and gone, it seems |
Loudoun has always been ridiculously priced. I get they have a ton of facilities but they have 7 million in revenue and pay their top 4 employees are almost a million in compensation! The TD alone makes over $200k base salary! Arlington's TD makes $50k less than that and ASA has higher revenue! |
Info provided to parents either in offers or by TD says that Riverbend/NVA Aspire teams will pay $3k in registration, $800-1k in player fees, uniforms are separate ($250-300/each) and will practice on Fairfax County fields. Will not respond to which fields those are and whether it will be on turf or grass. So why are they charging MORE than Loudoun - it seems that there are absolutely no shared benefits between these teams and Loudoun so while the fees may be comparable, the services are much much less with Riverbend/NVA Aspire. |
|
They will NOT be able to get field space through Fairfax county for weekday practices as "Riverbend" without an associated rec league with a good number of players. Practices will be on unlit grass unless they can beg or pay Loudoun for some of their field space (which won't be in Fairfax).
Not sure how they are promising you practice field space in Fairfax for fall. |
| ^^Its easier to get space on weekends because clubs "give back" field space they aren't using. So look at the fields they just used for tryouts, that was the best they could get and one was grass and the other was Sunday morning of Mother's day, LOL. |
