Yeah, same GZ team that beat McDonogh, Culver and several other good teams before injuries decimated the team. Remind me, when was the last time your team beat McDonogh and Culver in the same year? |
The answer is never. |
Well, you lost to both last year and haven’t won a WCAC Championship in 3 soon to be 4 years. Put your shirt back on a move along before PVI faithful jump in. |
Just pointing out some important info related to 2022 team. |
lol! |
Will be tons of parity this Spring across the top 4. Don’t see one team really more dominant than the other this year. In no order, GP, Landon, GZ, and SJC will likely battle it out for area bragging rights. Good luck! |
The important info related to the 2022 team, is that they LOST to a small public school who cant recruit players, who were also down their only 5 star recruit for the game. They also lost at home... to a public school... who cant recruit players.... Gonzaga still had probably double digit players on the team, playing in that game, who were college commits. And if your argument was that players were suspended, that is also the fault of the team/coaches. Have some pride in what you are doing. Why send your kid to Gonzaga and spend all that cash money, if you can just go to public school and beat the almighty purple eagles. St. Johns dosnt seem to have that issue! |
Why are we talking about the 2022 season? Only discussion about that season should be about St. John’s. Will anyone ever field a better team in the DMV? Doubtful |
Landon 02 Prep 06 Prep 09 Gonzaga 2013 Landon 2015 Landon 2017 All are better than SJC 22 |
😂 |
Nobody who has the option of going to GZ is picking SJ. Get real. |
Not a SJC fan but better?? Naw how are you better than the best team in the nation and they were that. |
Certainly a hot take. Speaks track record of onfield success predates his recruiting success. SJC became nationally dominant once the recruiting took off. |
I disagree with PVI location being a non factor. PVI being in Fairfax was a lot easier for people to commute for kids in Fairfax, Vienna, and Oakton areas. It is actually easier for those closer to the beltway to go across the bridge to Bethesda schools. Most of those people only come out to Loudoun County for wineries..... |
OK genius, then why did PVI have arguably their best season in school history last season? Almost every starter and impact player is from Loudoun same with the year prior. Maybe some of those players would not have wanted the commute to Fairfax. Works both ways. Many of the stronger younger players are in Loudoun. Maybe Loudoun players who used to go all the way to DC would stay in Loudoun if there is a good option |
