How many are bots? 😂

Twitter's old mDAU claims were subject to punishment by the SEC because they were a public company. Now Elon is free to lie all he wants, and I am certain that advertisers realize that.

Holy cow, you’re right. As a private company, there are zero reporting requirements. He can say whatever he wants in public and then do the opposite behind closed doors.

They are still subject to state regulation and, most importantly, EU regulation.

What state or EU regulation would govern what Elon says to advertisers about mDAU numbers?

It probably makes sense then the advertisers to leave the platform...

The tipping point was when he tweeted at Hillary Clinton about the Paul Pelosi conspiracy theory. That single tweet alone cost him billions; most expensive tweet of all time. At my spouse’s public company, they pulled their Twitter advertising the next day after that incident.

This has been quite a billionaire mid life crisis, watching Musk implode Twitter with lies and freedom of speech crackdowns.

It's funny that he said today that he wants people to move cash onto Twitter and have Twitter function as a bank, considering some ex-employee or something was savaging Twitter for having deep security flaws just a few weeks ago and he's fired half the staff on top of everything.

I imagine hackers are just salivating at the thought of Twitter bank.

Musk honestly just sounds unbalanced.

Him and Kanye, both are very bipolar

Did his bank syndicate not have Musk sit for a psyche exam?

It's not going to be long before these agencies and companies delete their accounts and advertise that they are not on twitter so consumers/users should assume any twitter account is fake.

He funded the startup that became Paypal. Big difference.
