Holiday gifts for 11 year old girl

Anonymous
I'm struggling to come up with gifts for my 11 year old daughter. Her birthday is a week before Christmas, so I have to do double duty on gifts for her. One thing on her list was shoes -- no detail about what kind of shoes? Does anyone have ideas of what are the current cool shoes? She mostly wears Converse high tops. Any ideas would be welcome -- both for shoes and anything else a girl her age might like. Thanks in advance!

Girl, just ask her! My God why are you asking strangers when we know nothing about your daughter?

This depends so much on the kid. Some kids that age want fashion & skin care. Others want Lego sets & stuffed animals. Still others want sports gear, etc. What is she into?

Thanks for the rude and unhelpful response. I asked because I was hoping people would have some interesting sugguestions besides the obvious-- i.e. Lulumon, Brazilian cream, Uggs etc.

This OP--I got my daughters bubble intial necklaces a couple of years ago and I found them on Etsy. I can't remember who the vendor was but I know there were a lot of good options.

Whole name or just first initial? Kendra Scott has an initial one out right now. For whole name you can search Etsy and/or amazon and see who has good reviews. Bauble Bar is selling one as well.

What about room decor? A neon name sign, fairy or strip lights, fuzzy pillows and blankets, a cozy rug, something to make a wall collage (you see those fairy lights with a place to clip on photos on just about every tween girl gift list the Internet has). My 12 year old has closet doors that are metal and we got her cute magnets and she re-arranges what's on the door all the time.

A 3D pen might be a hit if she's crafty. Or if you really want to go big, a toy 3D printer.

Lego Botanicals - floral arrangements made out of Legos - they look really cool.

Adidas sambas or gazelles are in right now. Also, Ugg Tasman slippers.

The PPs list was all spot on. Jellycat stuffed animals are also popular now. Check BaubleBar for puffy necklace. “Good” brand of slime if she’s into that. Jewelry box, cosmetics organizer, travel toiletry bag.

Sigh. I have a 10.5 year old DD and none of this stuff would fly with her. She doesn't know name brands, she isn't into makeup etc. It's hard because after toys, makeup/skincare, designer clothes seem to be the next step.

My kid is sporty and active and loves Taylor Swift. But there's only so much Swiftie stuff we can get here! I have the TSwift Target book and a game. But I'm also lost. Am considering some room decor, that's a good suggestion.
