These school are too big for any institution-wide rating to mean much. There are programs for which Mich State is better than UMich even if most UMich programs are, between those two schools, better.

The whole conference is “standard strong.” To borrow a phrase from admissions.

Clear Wisconsin bias

Probably going to go on the “non target” rant again….

Or claim Wisconsin is “not prestigious” because it is too far west

I wonder whether Oregon dominating the Big Ten will make more kids interested in applying?

There has to be some respect for academic hear, not acceptance rate.

Therefore

NW
Michigan/Wisconsin
Illinois/USC/Washington/UMD
Rutgers/Penn State/Purdue/Minn
Indiana/MSU
Iowa/Nebraska

My rankings give credence to graduate schools and undergraduate schools. Maybe, if you were ranking just on prestige/selectivity, then your rankings would work. If you want to know “what’s the best schools my kid can go to” use my rankings.

Idiot who proves Wisconsin is by far the most underrated school is the history of academia. No other schools gets as disrespected as Wisconsin. Putting them on Ohio level is a joke.
