Getting really good reviews.
Who's going next weekend?

Not a fan of the trailer at all, so not going to see it. Seems like the usual "let's revisit erstwhile villains and add a race twist".

I take it you haven’t seen the musical.

My family is with teens who love musical theater.

I'm surprised at how many families with small kids are taking about going. I thought it might be too scary for elementary school kids. And looong!

But I'm excited!

Running time of 2 hours and 40 minutes? No can do in a theater anymore.

My eight year old really wanted to see it based on the trailer so we're going, but I'm worried about the length both for her attention span and my bladder.

My 8 year old loves the play and listens to the soundtrack all the time. We’re planning on going with her 9 year old friend and parents next weekend.

We’ll see how they do with the run time!

Ugh. Cynthia Erivo's complaining about the fan edits pissed me off. And the crap she said about African-Americans.

she just rubs me the wrong way.

Can't stand Ariana.

I'm the OP. I've never seen the musical or listened to the soundtrack. I'm prepared to be stunned.
