MCPS -- Canvas Is Messed Up

Anonymous
In case there are any MCPS employees watching this forum, please be aware that canvas is seriously messed up. There are several of us that posted on a different thread that we are unable to see or add any courses in canvas. Thanks.

Works fine for me.

Works fine for me too. This doesn’t sound like a system wide issue.

DP. It does not work for me either.

Taylor should be reading! Go to his next listening session this Thursday evening at Whitman High school to voice your concerns about this and other issues you have.

NP - I just tried to view my HS student's courses in Canvas and they're all missing. I also can't add him as a student to "observe." Interestingly, my older DS who graduated from MCPS in 2022, is available to observe.

How does this get fixed?

Both of my kids were having trouble getting in last night to view their homework. They ended up figuring out a workaround where they entered from a different link.

MCPS seems to break once a week in the evening for 30-60 minutes, then goes back to normal. Seems more frequent this year compared to last year.

People get back on their wifi or clear their browser cache. It's not an MCPS problem.

So condescending. It was definitely a canvas problem (maybe the software and not McPS) not user error. Our kids were deleted from our accounts. I’ve been using canvas daily for 7 years. Not user error. Am traveling today so not sure if it’s fixed this morning.

How you spread shit like this is beyond me. I tried three different machines and two different browsers. All have the same problem.
