Trump's plan to destroy DC

its no secret trump has stated his hatred of DC which votes 93% for democrats.

I heard this from a friend of a friend with some ties to Trump's inner circles, the plan in the next few years will be to hit/move significant number of agencies out of DC, for the ones which will have to be in the area for logistical reasons/defense/dod will be moved across the river into Virginia in a bid to have loyalists turn Virginia into permanent red state rather than having their people waste their electoral position in MD/DC. Virginia went blue by about 200k. Eventually firing about 100k democrats and having about 100k loyalists in VA will shift it red. DC and MOCO will be rendered into a slum outside of a few places next to the mall/capital hill.

Any how, I am praying this is not true, but it sounds like something they are capable of.

4 years isn’t long enough to do that.

Moving agencies takes quite a long time. Plus a lot of people would stay put and commute.

This sound like the same thing Amazon promised to Arlington and Alexandria and now there are half finished buildings in Crystal City and Potomac Yard.

Nah, Trump will want a beautiful DC. Lots of great development projects in the pipeline that will pique his interest.

The Project 2025 follow on may involve imposition of a broad death penalty in DC for murder and other crimes. It’s worth a shot to deal with DC’s spike in violent crimes.

He will move interior out again and maybe other agencies. But the dod thing makes no sense. Pentagon is in VA already and way more dod ppl live in Va than Md. some things like the navy yard are in DC but that's a base. Cant just build a new base and VA already has plenty. Try to move NSA from MD I guess but that would take a long time.
