Per other threads, there are several experienced U16-U17 players who haven’t heard news from their clubs and are still looking. Can we start a thread listing options for this age group? For example,

That might be true, but they also may still need players. You can have hundreds show up and make offers and few accept. |

NVVA's site shows another tryout session coming up this weekend for their XP program. That stuff's all new, so hard to predict how awesome it will be or how many they're still looking for (I think they've had two tryouts so far).
Evolution VB also runs an in-house rec program, as well as a travel-lite club version. Their tryouts at later this month. I wouldn't necessarily write them off - there are some good players who don't have the time available for a full club program but have the skills. |

Yes and we know several former players who haven’t received offers yet while they continue to hold tryouts and already saw 100s of girls. |

Playing for a club comes with advantages and disadvantages. The most important advantage is that the club knows what you are capable of and they would not replace you with a marginally better player. The most important disadvantage is that the club knows what you are capable of and they might want to replace you. It's a sign when former players don't receive an offer and the club keeps holding tryouts. Those former players may not receive a spot on the team unless the club fails to find a replacement. |
