It would seem that, by now, everyone has an opinion on whose right and whose wrong in the Israel / Gaza / Lebanon Conflict.
However, I would really like to know whether or not there's an ethical line that could be crossed from either side that would convince you switch sides? For example, if you're still team Israel, what would be necessary for you to turn against them? I'm looking for military or political red-lines... Use of tactical nukes or chemical weapons? Direct unprovoked attack on Egypt or Qatar? Placing everyone in West Bank on massive cruise ships and sending them to some remote place? Labor Camps in settlement areas? A video of mass shooting of prisoners? Ceasing to allow any aid trucks in for some period of time? If you're team anti-Israel / anti-Zionism, what would you have to see from Israel / Hamas / Hezbollah to change your stance on the matter? Hezbollah launching 5,000 missiles in a single day at indiscriminate targets into Israel? Chemical/radioactive weapons attached to missiles that? Terrorist attacks at scale in the US or Europe? Would gas prices reading $6 / gallon in the US be the main thing that would bother you? On the flip side, would any benevolent offering from one side be enough to change your mind? Before the red lines are crossed, could we all define what ours actually are? |

No one gives a damn what America thinks anymore. Americans have proven themselves too dumb and too arrogant to accept the reality of what they've always supported, paid for and blindly defended.
Here's the reaction of most of the world when the real president of the US speaks at the UN rather than in Congress were all of the AIPAC wh**es stand up like clapping, trained seals: Many diplomats leaving just when Netanyahu is speaking: https://x.com/MyLordBebo/status/1839669491925471445 |
It’s ok to spell it out: whores for AIPAC, too clueless to even do the math on the deal - pathetic. |
Vast, unprecedented reform in Israel resulting in a credible two-state solution would be the minimum for me, but I’d prefer to also see both states fully demilitarized; regional security assured by U.N. peacekeepers funded by the U.S.; and war crimes tribunals for Netanyahu, his cabinet, the IDF leadership, along with the leadership of Hamas and Hezbollah. |
| OP here. Would love to hear from the pro-Israel side as well... Is there anything that would make you turn against the Netanyahu government or perhaps feel more sympathy to their opposition? |
Yes, I would turn against Israel when it’s clear their land and people are no longer under threat of attack from terrorists and they continued to retaliate. At the moment I support Israel 100% because if terrorists invaded American homes and killed and kidnapped my countrymen, I would want them to eradicate Hamas. If terrorists shot rockets at me every night, I would want the US to take out the leadership of the terror organization. If for example on October 7, Israelis snuck into Gaza, and intentionally murdered and kidnapped civilians, then I would not support Israel. |

Turn against Hamas/Hezbollah military leadership 1 already am.
Turn against the Lebanese and Gazans being killed and dismembered who are not also posted with the military wing of these groups….not sure. I even understand if Israel’s callousness and seeing parents/siblings/spouses die or be dismembered drives these people to take up arms for Hamas/Hezbollah. Support Israel: stop bombing. Release the hostages (prisoners held without conviction) you hold. Take a deep internal look at how you have harmed other people through your existence and work to live at peace with them not war. Focus you marvelous intelligence on protecting your people from terrorist attacks. Stop supporting one Palestinian governing group over another because you want to divide and conquer. Figure out a way to give the Palestinians contiguous land from Gaza to the west Bank so they can have a country of their own and stop the air/sea/land embargo. Definitely move out the illegal settlements. If you stake your claim of existence on a U.N. resolution you have to follow the other resolutions issued since as well. The US: stop sending weapons to Israel without conditions. |

Hamas legit surrenders but Israel keeps attacking.
But we know they will never surrender. They will continue killing innocents and hiding behind innocents . It’s their MO. |
What do you call the prison camps that Israel was forcing the Palestinians to live in????? |
No one with at least half a brain is "for" Palestine or Israel or Hamas or Hezbollah or Lebanon. We are all for the innocent people throughout that region that have continually been terrorized by the wars of their "leaders". |

Nothing would ever change my mind, because I am Jewish and care for the Jewish people. I’m not going to change my mind as I watch the ongoing global Jewish genocide started by [Hamas](https://www.newyorker.com/news/the-weekend-essay/what-we-know-about-the-weaponization-of-sexual-violence-on-october-7th) and continued by monstrous Hamas terrorists in [American Universities all over the country](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna173110).
The only people at this point who do not whole heartedly support Israel are anti-Semitic terrorists cheering on the beginnings of the second Holocaust. |
Very effective punishment for their genocidal and anti-Semitic beliefs. If the US would take their lead and consider using a similar strategy against the Hamas terrorists in our universities, there would be far less Hamas terrorists brutally attempting to murder our Jewish babies. |
I roll my eyes at you! You're disgusting and have no mind of your own. |
thought crimes ❤️ |
| I'm in the minority in that I couldn't care less about Israel/Hamas/Hezbollah. That area of the world has zero economic benefit for the US, and we would be better off to simply disengage and let them fight it out for the next fifty years. There are many areas of the world undergoing conflict where the US has no interest - most of the Middle East should be moved into that category. China, Russia, Europe, and Latin America are all higher priorities. |
