I think John killed her because he realized that night that she might tell that he was abusing her. John knew he held all the power in the family, so he believed he could keep Patsy and Burke in line. He also was someone who had used his power and money to his advantage before, so knew how to throw his weight around. He enlisted Patsy as an accomplice after the fact and then kept her drugged and terrified ever since. All of this probably contributed to her demise. |
Show is pretty corny so far - heavy on the cheesy fake drama... |
I think all these shows do reenactments, no? (I don't watch a lot of them.) There is science and fact searching going on here. And these people at the round table are experts in their fields. |
I'm thinking it's one of the best so far that I've seen |
I wish the public could see Janet McReynold's movie columns she wrote for the Daily Camera. Did the police ever review those? |
??? All of these internationally renown experts over the years probably just didn't think of that. ![]() |
+1. |
These investigators are making some assumptions about their conclusions and aren't asking themselves if they are and none of the others are checking that. I think it's an assumption that only one person "wrote" the note. Santa was a professor -- what if he dictated it like he was at a lecture to someone else who wrote the words down, which would explain the "Listen.." part. What if the person writing it wasn't the best at spelling? Why assume the misspellings are to disguise the writing? Maybe one person wrote it part of the way and the other took over, or had input?
I'm not sure I'll be able to trust their conclusions at the end. |
Did they say it was only one person? My impression was that they were suggesting it was a combined effort with Patsy writing. |
I agree. The Investigation ID one was better. |
Seriously, what is the obsession with Santa?! |
No one wants to believe it's the parents. Creepy Santa sounds like the best alternative perhaps? |
Really? I totally disagree. Love the reenactment of the crime scene. I hear that the Ramsey's lawyer , Lin Wood, is going crazy right now threatening lawsuits against CBS. Did you know he is also Dr. Phil's personal lawyer? Hmmm......not a coincidence I think |
A lot of the interviews are nonsense, and prove nothing. Example- The "friend" who said JB told her daughter that the trophies were really for her mom...just silly. Six year olds wouldn't have a conversation like that. Patsy dying JB's hair...neither here nor there. |
For sure not a coincidence. That said, I doubt Ramsey will put much effort into a lawsuit. It took 20 years to do this show, but I'm sure CBS legally vetted the shit out of this. You think the network didn't double check with all their lawyers? |
