Harris will always be herself - which is a bad temper, no manners, ill fitting pantsuits and faux pearls. The "face" she puts on for the public is who she is. She will never get the votes with it.

Clearly. That's why you and the trumpers are running around on social media rn like chickens with your head cut off.

That’s how deliriously happy people react. Dems are so busy being offended and enraged about stuff they don’t recognize pure joy when they see it.

I honestly don’t understand the deliriously happy reactions. The guy you were beating just stepped aside. I would think they’d want him to stay in the race.

Biden was the highest performing opponent in those polls.

No, he wasn't. Trump would prefer Biden. It's a known entity.

That’s been his entire focus over the past 4 years.

+1 what personal aspect of Harris' life will Trump go after? How she's not a "real American", unlike his immigrant wife who used chain migration to bring her communist parents to the US?

Exactly.
“F Joe Biden!”
“Sleepy Joe”
“Let’s Go Brandon”
“Hey, he’s out! Hell yeah! Back to your basement sleepy Joe!”

“Ok. Now what…?”

Don’t fool yourselves. The GOP has the dark money to spend gathering intel and workshopping messages on all the Democrats, but they’d have that to go on any Democrat.

It’ll be a fairly quiet few days and then the right wing will begin disseminating their talking points to their online army and then there will be some talking point. They used up a bunch during the 2020 primary season, but they’ll be organized about it.

Let’s see it for what it is and ignore it. President Biden has urged us to unite behind VP Harris and I am going to. The GOP is posing the end of America, and while their drooling followers applaud it (while telling us it’s not the GOP’s agenda at all), we must oppose it. That way lies birth control banned, NOAA unfunded and no more weather forecasts, “illegal immigrants” rounded up (but more likely just brown people), and a destroyed government.

You want to turn out vote? Antagonize a woman of color.

Hold a woman of color to the same standard men of all colors are subjected to in a presidential election cycle? That’s your “antagonism.”

Please. Women of color are never held to the same standards of anyone. Their standard is much higher and they have repeatedly carried the burdens of others on their backs while being pushed down from every corner. Those men don’t know anything about courage, determination or grit. It would be no surprise to me if a black woman saved us from Trump.

Can you point out where he says he’s going to pull out of debates? I don’t see it.

I'm sorry, were you in a coma since 2015? This is his modus operandi. He will build up to it.

DP. He fulfilled all of Biden’s debate requirements. Now it’s his turn to set the parameters. What about that don’t you get?

Yeah, no Dem is going to be able to run from Biden’s miserable record unless he or she is a total outsider centrist. Harris? She has his mess weighing on her shoulders.

Miserable record"

LOL

What was the Dow, unemployment rate or jobless claims when Trump left office?

Right? I am in awe of our retirement and college savings accounts.

That’s actually a choice that I think makes sense.

I’d love if Pete were selected as VP (him debating Vance would be must see tv) but add homophobia on top of racism and sexism and we’d be really screwed

Oh stop with that nonsense. Pete has been a lousy secretary of transportation and acknowledging that isnt homophobia.

From my vantage point he’s actually got a lot done at DOT despite the actors in his space. You can’t blame Pete for the failures of Boeing

You are free to have a positive opinion of Pete. But to slam people upset about his errors - from the supply chain issues to airplane headaches to the Ohio derailment - as being homophobic is inexcusable. Voters aren’t going to tolerate this kind of name calling when they don’t toe the Democrat line.

The supply chain issues were a result of COVID. Normally a private sector issue, Pete led getting the ports open and coordinating the different pieces of aircraft and truck shipping to ease the pain.

The "airline issues" are all private sector. Remember when Reagan deregulated airlines? Ya, the only federal touch with the industry is air traffic controllers and the Blue Shirts at the Homeland Security check points.

Meanwhile, he did coordinate the rebuild of the LA bridge, I-95 bridge in Philly and the efforts to get Key Bridge rebuilt in Baltimore, and those both are/were ahead of schedule. He also was on site in Palestine OH coordinating the clean up there, despite the Governor and Mayor claiming otherwise.

I think Harris would do a better job of being President than Trump. Part of the job is being able to hire competent advisors and delegate work to your cabinet. Trump surrounded himself with yes men and flunkies rather than career experts.

um no, they have come out swinging tying Harris to Biden, especially regarding the border mess.

+2 Second to Biden, Harris is Trump’s dream candidate because she owns the border disaster. Funny you liberals can’t see that.

GOP owns it after tanking their own bill.

What’s the GOP answer for this? More tax cuts for the rich that will trickle down?

If only the GOP weren't so against solving this problem. They block any legislation aimed at fixing things becuase they feel this crisis is in their politial interests and put that above our interests.
