I draw a different conclusion, PP. They voted against Trump, who seemed like the least rational and competent candidate at the time. Now for some of these protest voters, it surely seems as if it's Biden who is the least able to shoulder the burden of the Presidency. Don't forget these protesst voters aren't policy-oriented - they're not voting on abortion, taxes, tariffs, immigration. They're voting on who can reasonably be expected to stand up, walk about, talk in a normal tone of voice. The bar is SO PAINFULLY LOW. And after the debate, and Trump's fist-pumping right after his attempted assassination... ...well, I can see how many voters would prefer Trump over Biden. It's not an intellectual choice. It's come down to basic physics. So no, on the contrary, I think Trump is going to win. Unless Democrats can put Harris on top of the ticket and pick a young white centrist male VP (to compete with Vance), and then the odds become 50-50. |
Biden has opened the door to dropping out, 'if his doctors tell him to.' |
I disagree. Most swing voters and women will be repelled by a Trump/Vance ticket. It is too extreme and right wing. They will vote against that. Not for Biden. |
LOL you believe that? It was a throw away comment in an interview. From now on, Biden should just stonewall the media on this point. I've received 3 messages about this throw away comment from people who plan to vote for Trump. They are salivating at Biden resigning and people like Adam Schiff speaking out. Gee, why would they be so eager for the Democratic Party to throw out all their primary votes? For the DNC convention to descend into chaos? I wonder... |
People like you are voting? Sad. |
Trust me . They will be searching the garbage bins of Hwood to find a Dem white male celebrity to run for office. They actually want to build a Trump. It may be Clooney or Affleck but it will be someone they will groom for the presidency . They have zero fumes to run on except running a celebrity candidate. Trump made it ok |
Or they just won't vote, because they can't stomach either option. Low voter turnout is how Trump becomes president again. |
I'm registered as a Dem and I live in a solidly blue state so I can vote as I please. I used my last vote to protest the Dems and will this time too. It's the only way to signal that the way they're running the party isn't ok. |
Again, the Trump ticket is too extreme. People will be motivated to vote against that Totally different story if a more moderate ticket. |
L O L |
So who are you voting for with your "protest vote" in November? |
But Trump as president sounds like a good idea? |
You like the idea of a criminal running the country? Sad. |
Come on, you know PP isn’t a Democrat. |
That’s quite obviously their hope. The joke’s on them, however, as every Democrat will be crawling over glass to prevent the GOP from sinking their fascist fangs into America’s neck. I will vote for Biden, Harris or whoever. It is imperative that the fascism be put down. |
