As a Democrat, it all feels hopeless.

What the fk? What’s to be happy about?

The RNC and DNC need to be shut down so that we can work on reducing the influence of money politics and then we can reform two major parties under proper leadership which will lead to legitimate POTUS candidates. This is the only way to put the ineptness of the Trump/Biden era behind us.

Or we can just win in November, get a better court and get rid of Citizens United.

If we were serious about winning in November, we wouldn't have supported Biden's 2nd term ambitions in the 2024 primary. We made our beds.

Any Dem not voting for Biden loses my respect. I wish be weren’t the candidate. But this is not an election between Biden and Trump. It’s about the future of the democracy. If ppl can’t see that then we’re fuxxxed anyway you shake it due to our own stupidity.

Have u ppl forgot 1/6/20? And the sh—-show that was Trumps forst presidency? We will be a laughing stock. And stuck with a wannabe fascist at the helm. This whole idea is god da—- dystopian and it’s happening for all to see. But yeah. Biden’s old. Gtfoh.

I'm registered as a Dem and I live in a solidly blue state so I can vote as I please. I used my last vote to protest the Dems and will this time too. It's the only way to signal that the way they're running the party isn't ok.

Exactly.

I will vote for Biden (as I did in the primary) but I will not contribute to his campaign. Instead, I will contribute to Senate and House Democrats who will need to be a firewall against Trump.

Except for his Michigan rallly, none of the television appearances I've seen by Biden in the last month, have shown that he is capabile of continuing as President.

I really hope Biden lasts until January (dislike Kamala more than Biden) and the Dem nominee is not be replaced since I want Trump to be the next President.

For some reason this 2014 quote from Robert Gates gets a lot of publicity, but people don't see his comments about Trump. For example, from 2021

"I've worked for eight presidents. Five of them were Republicans. I don't think any of them would recognize the Republican Party today," he said. "I think in terms of the values and the principles that the Republican Party stood for under those five presidents are hard to find these days."

"I've read quotes from Republicans on the Hill that basically say, you know, in their heart of hearts, there probably aren't five people up here that actually believe that the election was stolen," he said. "So part of this is political gaming rather than a real conviction that the election was stolen."

It’s fun and entertaining watching liberals go nuts. It’s almost better than sex.

I’ll never understand the stupidity of “I disagree with the party so I will stay home/vote for a fascist” and “I wont donate” people. You think you’re making a difference? You’re not. And frankly this is a big reason why any republicans have any chances in most national elections: they vote the party no matter what.

You want change? Ge tiff your lazy a$$es and get involved from the inside, not from your keyboard.

LOL you believe that? It was a throw away comment in an interview. From now on, Biden should just stonewall the media on this point.

I've received 3 messages about this throw away comment from people who plan to vote for Trump. They are salivating at Biden resigning and people like Adam Schiff speaking out.

Gee, why would they be so eager for the Democratic Party to throw out all their primary votes? For the DNC convention to descend into chaos? I wonder...

That’s quite obviously their hope.

The joke’s on them, however, as every Democrat will be crawling over glass to prevent the GOP from sinking their fascist fangs into America’s neck. I will vote for Biden, Harris or whoever. It is imperative that the fascism be put down.

Exactly.

Georgia Democrats move to block Kennedy and others on the ballot to stop third-party candidates, but insist "democracy is on the ballot".

It's boring to watch them go nuts because they do the same thing all the time. Same old same old "democracy is dead" because someone else was democratically elected.
