Curious what typical cost is for private school shuttle bus to get to and from school for private independent school in dc or northern Virginia? $2000-$3000 round trip and half that for one way?

The number of schools in this area that don't offer meaningful transportation at all is mind boggling.
In greater Philly, my friend's private school bus is free. She was shocked that people in the DMV have to pay for transportation separate from tuition. |
