Women’s clothing at the Olympics

I hope that one day these female athletes don’t regret having so much of their bodies exposed to do the same sports that the men do with more clothing. I have seen some female runners opt for more fabric to cover themselves. I am curious about whether the athletes can opt for better coverage. Can a gymnast say that they aren’t wearing the half butt leotards

You’d be shocked that gymnasts (elites) train in less than what they compete in. Most times a sports bra and briefs.

But yes, you’re allowed to compete in a full body suit. Very few do.

The runners had something like 30 different options to mix and match. So they picked what worked for them.

Go to a local HS track meet and you will see less clothing.

Thank goodness you’re here to worry about their future regret on this front.

It feels like the easiest way you can ensure that don't regret what they're wearing is to let it pass without comment.

Is this meant to be a threat? It reads like a threat.

I love that women don’t have to worry about showing their bodies.

Remember the “scandal” of the soccer player taking off her shirt and seeing her sports bra. Can’t even believe how insane people are about a bra or a belly or a butt.

Omg,.keep crying. The men wear even less clothing for most pool related events.

Honestly, they should just do all the events nude like the Greeks did.

Typical dumb American attitude and puritanism bullcrap. You realize HUGE portions of the world care very little about nudity? They have on problems walking around nude all over Europe and South America. Going entirely nude to hot baths and saunas is so common in Asia.

Wearing running bottoms and a sports bra is quite literally a nothing burger to many people in the world except stupid ass Americans.

Mens swim competitions take all my stress away.

The pole vultures obviously need a little more support

The beach volleyball players had the most unflattering two piece suits. They made them look like slim men

And there are places where you must cover up. Isn't it nice that in the US we have a choice and are free to discuss? And since you are set on trashing the citizens of the country you live in, why are you here?
