| Total bill for the team uniform bundle for DC is $390. This is sheer robbery. How do the clubs get away with this crap? |
| Why don't you take it up with the club? A stern email perhaps? |
| Parents will pay. Manufactures sponsor clubs, but part of the deal is a certain amount of annual spend. That's how you get things like backpacks included in mandatory packages |
I sent two emails. No response. Total bill with tax is $414. Add this to the long list of reasons why US soccer is nothing more than a money grab. Yes, I understand that I fell for it and will learn my lesson moving forward. |
Backpacks, sweater, pants, 4 jerseys. I will never buy another item from Springfield Soccer again. |
Adidas gives them a lot of money |
| we never got the entire kit. by the time they are u14 more than half the team only gets the game jerseys. |
Every club we've been at requires it. Soccer.com will not even let you purchase partial kits until the season has started |
|
Some clubs have mandatory slides!
We have backpacks, rain parka, warmup pullover, 2 uniforms + 1 uniform in long sleeve, training kit, and sweatpants |
I've tried but you cannot remove items from the bundle. It's crap |
| Same, you have to buy the "bundle" even though I know that my kid will NEVER wear the ugly sweatpants that don't fit right. Robbery. |
| Why is this even a complaint? So clubs lists these fees for you beforehand and try every year people commission like they had no idea and it's a hidden cost. I always find it funny when soccer parents complain about costs like a few hundred bucks is highway robbery as well. That's a drop in the bucket for other sports' gear. Come back and complain when you deal with things like hockey, gymnastics, and dance on a competitive level and how expensive the costs of just the uniform/costumes/gear you have to purchase are. |
| What's crazy to me is to have "sponsors" on the jerseys but families still have to pay full price. It used to be that the "sponsorship" paid for the jersey, which is why their name is printed on the jersey. |
I WISH I only paid $390. LOL |
| It’s not the club, it’s the manufacturers. |
