My friends love spending the night together at one/another’s homes. This is often for fun, not drinking (half the group does not drink). They watch movies, play board games, eat, share a bed, and then go to brunch the next day. Majority of our group are moms, two are not which depending on the house could be quiet or not.
Maybe it’s squeezing into a crowded bed, but I just have not enjoyed these occasions. Depending on the home, some have dogs that also crawl into the bed or lick and slobber on you while sleeping or awake. Overall, I’ve never enjoyed sleepovers as an adult but do this for them. I wish I could have more fun, they all seem to love this. |
Is this for real? |
This is weird and I have not heard of anyone doing this locally as an adult. |
This sounds awful. Do people really do this? |
What? |
Your friends are weird - nobody does this, on a consistent on-going basis, as an adult. |
Fantasy in your head, OP?
Because no one I know, from the time I was a grad student to now in my 40s, has ever done this. |
How peculiar. If you don’t like them, stop. This isn’t hard or worthy of a post. |
I don’t understand. His many of you are sharing a bed?! This is not a thing adults do. |
Hahahahahahaha
This is not a thing. Fan fiction. |
This is not normal, OP. Have you ever been diagnosed with a learning disabilities or low IQ? Because the average adult would know that this is not normal. Of course you don't like bedsharing with adults who are not your significant other. It's not appropriate. |
No one does this.
Who else think this is some pervy guys fantasy here? |
I opt out of them as well. A) I sleep poorly due to chronic illness and menopause. B) I’m a super early bird so either they are keeping me awake at midnight or I am waking them up at 5:30 AM. Instead I either go home or get my own hotel room. Either way, the sleepover ends for me around 11. |
I did not know this was a thing for grown a$$ adults. |
The bed-sharing isn't. But hanging out late into the night, playing games or watching something and chatting? Sure. At any age. |
