I'm in LA, its not yet 2.30am and I've just read my kids exam scores.

Both got all 5's in every exam they took.

Thrilled!

Genuinely curious…do you act like you don’t know the scores when you kid tells you? Or do you share the scores when they wake up?

I have my child’s college board login as I booked the SAT for them but I did not check the SAT scores before they told me what they were and will not check the AP scores either. It feels like an invasion of privacy to me

Wait, do I need to sign my kid up for SATs? I have a rising junior who took an AP test in 9th and 10th, but she did the registering, I guess, I wasn’t involved. Are parents required to do it for SAT? Or can she still do it?

No, my kids signed up for theirs on their own. And the school registers them for in school test. The only reason you might need to be involved is payment if your child doesn’t have a debit or credit card.

Congratulations!

My kid took five exams. He got a 4 in AP Lit, and 5s in the others (Calculus, Physics, Gov, Psych.)

So thrilled that my son got a 4 in Calc AB! He came home on exam day saying that it was a hard test. He's going to JMU, and they only give credit for 4s and 5s.
