I might have missed it but why does Ashley need to pay her mom’s bills?

She already bought her a house and her mother doesn’t appear to be that old. Is she disabled? And if so doesn’t she get disability payments? I don’t understand why she can’t cover the other stuff since her house expenses are likely minimal.

The mother also filed bankruptcy at some point and that wiped her out. This it what happens when you make bad choices and don't educate yourself so you can get a well-paying job. I'm the same age as her mother and I just can't imagine leaning on my child for that kind of support. She's putting Ashley in a bad position. The mother is younger than Michael. I know he's thinking if I'm going out everyday and working, I know you can!

Because Ashley and Michael pay some of the mom's bills and bought her the house, she spends her money on other things. I think they thought helping her would free her money up for other bills, but it sounds like she now just has 'free money' to spend on whatever she/the loser boyfriend want-ie not bills and not saving. I just feel bad for her that her mother is such a manipulator.

I don't think Ashley is educated. She just married a wealthy man.

None of the Real Housewives are necessarily role models but Potomac is far from the least educated group. Actually I think most of the women have college degrees.

I think OC or NJ are probably the least educated.
