The mother also filed bankruptcy at some point and that wiped her out. This it what happens when you make bad choices and don't educate yourself so you can get a well-paying job. I'm the same age as her mother and I just can't imagine leaning on my child for that kind of support. She's putting Ashley in a bad position. The mother is younger than Michael. I know he's thinking if I'm going out everyday and working, I know you can![/quote]

Because Ashley and Michael pay some of the mom's bills and bought her the house, she spends her money on other things. I think they thought helping her would free her money up for other bills, but it sounds like she now just has 'free money' to spend on whatever she/the loser boyfriend want-ie not bills and not saving. I just feel bad for her that her mother is such a manipulator.[/quote]
