I am an independent voter. I have voted for both sides since the first election I voted in, and often split my ballot based on the issues I care about. I have never particularly cared for Jimmy Kimmel: I find him full of himself and not that funny.
That said, I enjoyed his monologue last night and thought he showed class. I do not at ALL think his show should have been cancelled. And I applaud the conservatives in particular speaking out on this, and am glad Jimmy acknowledged them. I’m also glad he reiterated that the murder of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy and must be condemned. I thought his message was one of unity while also calling out the dangers of censorship. Free speech is essential on both sides! |

It's horrifying of course that this is where we are -- but it's also funny because Jimmy basically predicted that the President would be posting on SM about this while sitting on the toilet late at night. Look like an 11:16 post, so probably just as Jimmy was getting ready to talk out on stage. |
Rogan is right. Trump has gone too far. |
+1 |
Rogan is right often, considering how difficult it is for him to hold an opinion for more than 1 day. |
Either Google secretly engaged in treason and propping up a fake election from 2020-2023, or Google is openly engaging in treason now, supporting Trump's 2020 coup attempt. Which is it, Google? Hmm? |
And then will go back down to the usual irrelevancy. |
But only if Trump leaves him alone. How likely is that? |
Presidents do not have immunity from civil suits while in office. Personally, I would love for anyone to file a civil suit against trump for $50 billion! |
Yep. These MAGA posters said John McCain and Ronald Reagan lean left. A bunch of freaks and nutcases is the MAGA brand. |
Sinclair's financial loss. Over 9 million people, and growing, had watched the Jimmy Kimmel on YouTube last night. YouTube got the ad dollars, not ABC. |
The lawfare is what got him elected. But please persist. |
Only one side wanted free speech curtailed. |
DP. If you think he was a victim of law fare, what do you make of his current obsession with getting revenge on all his "enemies" through...lawfare? |
Trump? Probabaly. |
