Public pressure works, people.

+1. They caved and ABC gave them no editorial or content concessions.

And then will go back down to the usual irrelevancy.

Trump?

Probabaly.

Trump has less than 40 months to go. We're getting there day by day. We'll soon be talking about primaries, and he won't be part of the conversation.

He’s hoping to create civil unrest and declare Marshall Law. And then get his Congress buddies to make a law to cancel elections during Marshall Law.

After the Kimmel fiasco, his a$$ki$$ing twits in Congress should be prepared for a revolution if Trump tries tondeclsre

They saw all that ad money walk out of the stations. They also si the increase of people watching it on streaming YouTube and realize they may have lost those viewers forever. It’s all about the dollars.

DP. Not jimmy Kimmel, but definitely something more personal like martial law. What the Kimmel fiasco showed is that people want just keep tolerating the BS without a reaction.

+100

The quietly growing, seething anger is much much bigger than Kimmel. Kimmel was just one little piece of kindling among hundreds and Trump and MAGA would be wise to recognize this and understand they are playing with fire. Stop adding kindling, as the next blowback could be 10x worse than Kimmel, and the one after that even bigger.

Yes, assassinations, we know. You won't stop us. You cannot kill your way into power.

What would be the necessity for canceling elections during martial law?

I don’t think he would cancel elections. Martial law would give him more leeway to arrest election workers by the dozens in places like Philadelphia and Atlanta. It probably wouldn’t even get pushback from maga supporters.

Ratings have fallen off a cliff, back to normal low levels with the show burning millions of dollars a week. Voice of the people... living in a palace in the Hollywood Hills. lol

If you think the whole situation was about “ratings,” you missed the point.
