| Well, that was the dullest/saddest DC fireworks display I've ever seen here! Completely boring and uninspired. Glad I can see them from my windows and didn't have to leave home but such a disappointment DC! |
| They had a new one we had not seen before. It appeared to be a ring with a chasing color change. |
|
Well, sorry they did prepare a Disney miracle for you this year.
Maybe it’s time to stop fireworks. It’s bad for environment. |
| We saw them downtown. Great fun. Sorry you were stuck at home, OP. |
| We enjoyed them, and many thousands of people with us on the Mall seemed to as well. Hope you like them next year! |
| It’s clear OP have only seen the social media post about it and wasnt there. |
| What exactly was wrong with it? |
| Maybe it was the setting. You might have enjoyed it more if you were closer and surrounded by people who were there to see it. Half-heartedly looking out a window does seem like a way I would enjoy anything. |
Same here on Cape Cod! I loved that one! |
+1 part of the joy and festivity is the setting - either being down on the Mall or a roofdeck with friends, music, drinks, etc. I also saw some fireworks from my window (not DC) but not nearly as fun as just the local fireworks we saw with friends a few days earlier which had a great vibe. |
What posts are you talking about? I saw them they were trash compared to oh say the last 35 years here. |
Op they were terrible seen them in DC 35 years this was one of the worst displays! |
| NYC was also bad. They didn’t even really have a finale. |
| I thought NYC was vastly better than DC, the music too. The DC music was godawful. |
| Y'all are spoiled. |
