[/quote] +1 part of the joy and festivity is the setting - either being down on the Mall or a roofdeck with friends, music, drinks, etc. I also saw some fireworks from my window (not DC) but not nearly as fun as just the local fireworks we saw with friends a few days earlier which had a great vibe.[/quote]
