What terminology has stuck with your family from the little kid days?

My 3yo calls shopping carts "copping sharts" and I don't think we will ever say shopping carts again

DS had a friend since he was a baby who's family is from Albania. "Noni" is sleep in Albanian and he learned it really young. 11 years later and noni has now completely replaced using the word sleep in our family, even our dog is trained with that word!

When we would visit my sister Jane, they always knew when we were on her street when we turned onto "Jane Lane". They still call it that as teens.

We have a couple of preschool songs and chants that get used/repurposed as needed, including “Ohhhhh yessss, it’s pajama time,” courtesy of Sandra Boynton’s album.

Youngest kid is off to college in the fall.

My teens still call their dad “dada”. I’ve come across a few other people who do that too so I guess it isn’t that uncommon!
