Didn’t they say those would be done in 10 days? Aren’t we way past that now? |
That's what my kid's teacher told them too. |
How are they reported? |
Last day of the testing window was May 15. So 10 days would be today. |
Perhaps 10 school days. |
Different topic |
We had heard 2 weeks but no one mentioned how the scores would be reported. Anyone know? |
Is it true they are using AI to grade? Seems really risky. |
No. Last day for the L-MISA (HS) is May 31. Kids are still doing makeups. https://www.marylandpublicschools.org/programs/Documents/Testing/State-Testing-Window-Calendar-2023-24-a.pdf |
Yes they are definitely using AI to grade, and there is no way to appeal the decision. |
It’s possible that the state has graded them but MCPS just hasn’t distributed the results. |
Says who? |
Going to lead to lawsuits at some point. Bad idea. |
We just got back my older kid’s scores from last year. Something like 4% of kids statewide got the top score, and about one third passed the test. I can’t imagine how they take results like that and include them in the kids’ grades. If only a third of the kids are passing, blame can’t all be on the kids. |
