Boo MISA scores?

Didn’t they say those would be done in 10 days? Aren’t we way past that now?

That's what my kid's teacher told them too.

How are they reported?

Last day of the testing window was May 15. So 10 days would be today.

We had heard 2 weeks but no one mentioned how the scores would be reported. Anyone know?

Is it true they are using AI to grade? Seems really risky.

No. Last day for the L-MISA (HS) is May 31. Kids are still doing makeups.

Yes they are definitely using AI to grade, and there is no way to appeal the decision.

It’s possible that the state has graded them but MCPS just hasn’t distributed the results.

Says who?

Going to lead to lawsuits at some point. Bad idea.

We just got back my older kid’s scores from last year. Something like 4% of kids statewide got the top score, and about one third passed the test. I can’t imagine how they take results like that and include them in the kids’ grades. If only a third of the kids are passing, blame can’t all be on the kids.
