I thought he came off very slick, his facial expressions just a tad smug, bordering on know-it-all, with a whiff of condescension. It was totally apparent this is a guy who knows how to do PR on the fly. Rewriting Trump's actions in the telling, with such easy-breezy confidence was infuriating. Maybe that's the benefit of Yale law school training.

Usha was heavily involved in preparing him to debate. It is refreshing to hear highly educated people speaking in public.

So I bet you love hearing Obama talk

I LOVE Obama! Vance speech and presentation was at his level. Walz was not.

Yes Vance was really that good.

Poised and articulate like Obama.

I swear I did not expect to come off liking this guy who has been the butt of jokes the last one month.

Agree. And I was pretty confused why Trump would even pick him. But now I see. He was excellent and didn’t come off as slick or smug at all. He came off as poised, articulate, and cool under pressure. As if he could deal with World leaders with ease and not be a push over. Walz did seem like a great person, but all the agreeing with Vance made him look like a pushover. He would do the US no favors in negotiations

The gaslighting is hilarious. Bet you don’t care about any of his lies or his willingness to contravene the constitution, as clearly stated on several occasions.

Stop lying. Walz failed badly last night. No need to cover up for this. Vice presidential debates don't change anything, so why are you lying?

The PP isn't lying. Maybe you need to get out of your bubble.

I think Tim maybe needed a little more prep, but let's be honest there was no way he was going to win when it does not matter what the other side says. Jd didn't even have to prep. He could just literally make up whatever he wanted in the moment based on what Tim said and know that it does not matter at all to his voters

Walz is too old and too politically experienced to act like a nervous wreck during a single debate.

He was a senior enlisted leader in the US military and a football coach, but was in shambles last night. Something isn’t right about that.

Any man that doesn’t act like a toxic frat bro and bully people is “in shambles” for MAGA.

Vance didn’t act like a toxic frat bro.

Walz called himself a knucklehead. What a joke. Why would anyone vote for a self described knucklehead?

People with humility. Very typical for a Minnesotan.

Being humble is great, admitting you are an idiot is not great.

Nobody running for VP should have to explain their lies and misstatements as occurring because they are a knucklehead. That’s ridiculous.

Walz admitted he’s not fit for office. It’s embarrassing.

Cool. So when is Vance going to address all the lies he told last night.
Walz: not smooth and slimy. Substantive and truthful.
Vance: slippery smooth and lying all night long

Sorry you did not got used to be around highly educated males and they give you appearance of to be "slippery smooth". Vance manners and presentation were superb yesterday. I am not agreeing with his stand and policy, but anyone denying this just Russian troll.

Vance presented well on a superficial way. But when you really consider how he behaved, he spoke in entire paragraphs, lying with a smile, and mansplained repeatedly to Norah and Margaret

He was very articulate and very knowledgeable about many things. I was impressed how well he is aware of how CB1 app works for those who crossing the border. I bet Walz had no idea what Vance was talking about based on his face expression.

Walz was not very knowledgeable about immigration policies at all. I did not got a feeling that we will see any changes from what we have now in immigration field.

This is the thing about maga, and it’s so disgusting: it’s only about themselves. What about the country? What about women?

Actually, the PP is copying this exact statement from a few pages ago but switched out Harris/Walz for Trump/Vance. Guess there are plenty of “disgusting” selfish Democrats too!

The truth is, everyone is voting for who they see as best to serve them and their wants/needs.

This is what will be different about this election. Even people who cared about policies and social justice will be putting their own interest first at this election.

That’s how it has always been

Go replay it or read the transcript, he was very clear and articulate.

All I got was he is married to A nice looking woman and child care is a young woman issue

And how many times did he mention his beautiful family and his three beautiful children? I almost threw something at the screen. Especially how he slid over the issue of gun control and kids being in danger at school. His three beautiful children I'm sure have no such worries in their wealthy bubble.

How many times did Walz mention Minnesota? Does he know he’s not running for reelection as governor?

He is the governor of a state and sharing his leadership experience there. Vance has been a senator for all of two years and has missed the last 35 votes on the senate floor. He has zero requisite experience to be a vice president and given trump's age and health, he would likely become president. Given his outrageous positions on abortion and democracy, that is a scary, scary though.

Walz's jaw was dropped several times during the debate. Someone should prepare him better.

Vance's abject lies were, in fact, jaw dropping.

He's speaking from experience. You know, actual accomplishments that benefit his state, which he'd like to apply at the Federal level. Vance doesn't have any except writing a book that talks down to hillbillies and may have many factual inaccuracies.

Both Kamala and Tim are life long public servants who have no idea how to earn the money outside of the government paycheck. Having someone in the WH with a private sector experience will be beneficial for the entire country.

I am still on a fence. I did not like that they replaced Biden, my entire family would vote for him. But Vance is more like a young Biden, so I might look closer at him, because if Trump drops dad tomorrow, I would rather have Vance than Harris.

Vance is nothing like a young Biden. He has no morals whatsoever and would pick your pocket clean while staring at you with his guyliner eyes.

Walz actually schooled him in when it was enacted and details about it but stopped before the mics needed to be cut off....JD kept mansplaning

The great debater would refute those lies with the facts. Tim did not. He just kept his mouth dropped like Biden during debate. It could be just his old age.

I like Walz but I also like that I could tell when he’s lying. He is a very bad liar and lying about Hong Kong.

You can also tell when Vance is lying he is not endearing to me. Why they are so resistant on accepting Trump‘s defeat is beyond me. It would almost be better if they accepted it and say yes, he lost, but we’re moving towards the future and we want to win the next election. It’s not hard.

My take away is all politicians every single one of them is lying.

We would have seen progress if Trump had not pressured GOP members to block the bipartisan immigration reform bill that would have channeled a huge increase in trained staff and resources to police the southern border - all because he wants to claim victory for being the only and best person to deal with illegal Immigration. So cynical and sick.

So you prefer empty shelves and distance learning?

Hm, this is what we had during Biden regime. Time to churn the page.

Starting in March 2020? Who was president then?

(and if you are going to claim Biden there, then it is because of the COVID and supply chain issues Trump left on the way out the door. Thanks for making my point)

He is also much younger than ol’ man Walz. I just wonder if Vance might hold back due to respect for someone so much older than himself?

Vance was just like Obama: smooth, polished and very well put together in his appearance and in his thoughts. Out of four of them, he is the most presidential unfortunately.

He certainly lies better than the others.
