Agree. And I was pretty confused why Trump would even pick him. But now I see. He was excellent and didn’t come off as slick or smug at all. He came off as poised, articulate, and cool under pressure. As if he could deal with World leaders with ease and not be a push over. Walz did seem like a great person, but all the agreeing with Vance made him look like a pushover. He would do the US no favors in negotiations |
The PP isn't lying. Maybe you need to get out of your bubble. |
Walz was not very knowledgeable about immigration policies at all. I did not got a feeling that we will see any changes from what we have now in immigration field. |
That’s how it has always been |
He is the governor of a state and sharing his leadership experience there. Vance has been a senator for all of two years and has missed the last 35 votes on the senate floor. He has zero requisite experience to be a vice president and given trump's age and health, he would likely become president. Given his outrageous positions on abortion and democracy, that is a scary, scary though. |
Vance's abject lies were, in fact, jaw dropping. |
Both Kamala and Tim are life long public servants who have no idea how to earn the money outside of the government paycheck. Having someone in the WH with a private sector experience will be beneficial for the entire country. |
Vance is nothing like a young Biden. He has no morals whatsoever and would pick your pocket clean while staring at you with his guyliner eyes. |
Walz actually schooled him in when it was enacted and details about it but stopped before the mics needed to be cut off....JD kept mansplaning |
To me there was a real talker vs a doer vibe. |
The great debater would refute those lies with the facts. Tim did not. He just kept his mouth dropped like Biden during debate. It could be just his old age. |
I like Walz but I also like that I could tell when he’s lying. He is a very bad liar and lying about Hong Kong.
You can also tell when Vance is lying he is not endearing to me. Why they are so resistant on accepting Trump‘s defeat is beyond me. It would almost be better if they accepted it and say yes, he lost, but we’re moving towards the future and we want to win the next election. It’s not hard. My take away is all politicians every single one of them is lying. |
We would have seen progress if Trump had not pressured GOP members to block the bipartisan immigration reform bill that would have channeled a huge increase in trained staff and resources to police the southern border - all because he wants to claim victory for being the only and best person to deal with illegal Immigration. So cynical and sick. |
Starting in March 2020? Who was president then? (and if you are going to claim Biden there, then it is because of the COVID and supply chain issues Trump left on the way out the door. Thanks for making my point) |
He certainly lies better than the others. |
