Believe it or not, there are men who date (and gasp, even marry) women they know are pregnant by someone else. DH is not my stepson’s biological dad. However, he is the only father my stepson has ever known. He has done everything a biological father would do and more than many biodad seem to do according to DCUM posts. I think DH’s ex took a big gamble opening her heart and her unborn child up to someone new like that. They didn’t last as a couple, but he continued to parent and even paid for my stepson’s college.

Nice story but seems irrelevant here. They’ve been dating for a while. Why would you think she got pregnant by someone else?

That's a nice story. My uncle actually did the same but he wasn't a married coke addict in rehab at the time.
