I'm not surprised by this. I don't think either of their parents are dumb. I think people confuse their values with their intelligence or lack thereof. I think in a different environment with a focus on education they would have been just fine in that setting.

Not sure why you think they are morons. Maybe you disagree with their values but I don’t think they’re stupid. Not geniuses but not dumb either. The oldest child went to college and my guess is the others probably would have been able to go as well if they were pushed toward that path by their mom.

She seems like she's got a major platform to do some good. She's also showing all kinds of people who might not have thought they could become lawyers, that it's possible for people who aren't DC nerd types. I think there's nothing but upside in that.

A regular person with nothing but a GED would never be able to a find a law firm to accept them as an apprentice.
