40 yr old Kim Kardashian fails first year legal test

Anonymous
At this rate -- 2 years of test retakes per year of law school -- she should have just finished her BA and tried to get into a real law school.

She didn't even finish high school. She was reading the law.

Can she read?

she's already accomplished more for incarceration reform than all the self-important biglaw lawyers on this board combined.

If this is true, why does she need to become a lawyer, then? She could call herself a paralegal, I guess, but that probably doesn't sound "fancy" enough.

Unless someone else sits for her bar exam, she will never become a lawyer. If I had to ballpark, she probably reads and writes at no more than an 8th grade level. I'm not kidding.

By using her fame to coerce the release of convicted criminals, while also gaslighting and distorting criminal court proceedings? While she lives in a gated mansion in some gated private community with armed guards? Yeah, so accomplished. She's an old trollop looking for her next score.

Is this really possible or is she just stretching out this nonsense for 10 years to seek attention for something as her looks fade and she's 40-something years old? It honestly makes the profession look like a joke.

That's funny you think people aren't already joking about lawyers.

Plenty of slimy, callous people have become lawyers. MANY of them are men.

If Kim K becomes a lawyer it forces an entire generation of people to explore their internalized misogyny and it turns out most people don't like that.

I don't really care. It's not like anyone with any complex legal problems would ever hire her. She's only going to go to bat for people in prison who have no other options but her. And she's leaning on her fame to free them more than her intelligence. It's nice that she'll use her fame for something productive.

When I was a prosecutor's intern I came across this attorney who was taking 2k a pop to file these identical post conviction motions. They were pretty much copy/paste jobs and failed every single time because there was on point binding precedent. Yes, we reported him. This kind of stuff happens all the time.

Point is, I'm not worried about Kim Kardashian trying to do some pro Bono work as a threat to the legal profession.

That test is hard AF and when you take it its nothing but you and the piece of paper in front of you and a pen (or laptop? whatever). Say what you want about her but you can't BS your way through an exam like that. You know it or you don't and it took her four tries to pass.

If you think she's dumb as a brick I'd like to see what your score would be.

I don't think she's dumb as a brick. Her mom and dad were not dumb.

Well, she passed the first half of the CA bar exam. So either you are wrong, or an 8th grader has a decent shot of being an attorney in CA.

I'm 40 and from Calabasas, so I know people who crossed paths with them.

They weren't bad students. Not brilliant, but not bad students either. Kourtney went to college at SMU and Arizona and chances are the other girls would probably have gone to similar schools like most other students at Marymount if they didn't become famous.

Your jealousy and envy is showing. Because you sound like an absolute idiot to say the above.

Isn't this thread saying that she didn't pass the first-year test for people studying on their own? So how has she passed the first half of the CA Bar exam? And what does CA give the Bar exam in "halves"?
