Have any current Pride players heard anything? I thought we were supposed to get an email about tryouts since we are already on one of the teams, but haven't heard anything...

Okay, smart-ass, clearly you missed the point!!, if we are told an email is coming out, then the director needs to follow through and communicate.

Isn't this nothing new? I guess the Pride parents just tolerate the terrible communication and disfunction? Seems there are better options out there.

From the gossip making the rounds a TON of Pride hs age players tried out for top Baltimore teams like Skywalkers.

The Pride Instagram account posted yesterday that 2028s, 2027s, 2026s, and 2025s were all champs at the Grind tournament. Not sure of the competition, including if any Baltimore teams, but sort of confirms PP comments about Pride being one of the best programs in the DC area team. NOVA team tryouts are in July at Madeira (https://pridegirlslacrosse.com/tryouts/).

Competition was very weak - Hero's, SW, YJ, etc. all at G8 (sans M&D). Good they won, but they faced very little competition other than BBL and Prime Time. Not a good tournament to base anything on at all.

G8 is by far the most prestigious tournament for girls lax. Invitation only. M&D always there -pulled out at last minute this year w/no public explanation. Pride has nothing to crow about if they are playing elsewhere.

Yup - always strong. A few others too. As a PP said it is still the #1 tournament for girls; if you only attended 1 tournament all summer it should be this one.
