From what I understand- some teams haven’t even been finalized.

That is correct. My kids team (ID team so I cant speak for any other level) just got offers out so the team is not yet finalized.

I don't think my kid is getting an offer this year, and that makes me sad. He has done the ID blue team for the past two years, but we've heard nothing and so I am assuming he did not get picked this time. Oh well.

Our age group was about a week between red and white offers and there’s still some movement happening. I think covid is making some people nervous, so things don’t seem final yet.

Wrong sport. Alexandria doesn’t play Futsal like it plays soccer, and it is pretty obvious you don’t know much about either. Their top teams play both pretty damned well and are a lot smarter than clowns like you. Do your kid a favor and send him or her to learn how to play the right way, or have them play something else.

Not that person, but if Alexandria doesn't play futsal like it plays soccer, why does it pretty much offer futsal ID spots by your team and "rank" on that team? Which, actually, is certainly an acceptable way that you can do it, but then don't have a fake "tryout."
