Absolutely not, which is why I don’t spend time laughing snidely at youth soccer teams, but I will laugh all day at parents who think tournament pecking order matters for their girl going for that soccer scholarship at any school that would probably admit my son as a high school sophomore before he has wasted any time on soccer that he could use finishing projects that will get him into MIT as a senior. Please. Stop laughing and get a grip.

That is some sentence there champ. I hope your MIT aspiring son is better at the language than you are.

Thank you for your good humor - of course my son has a pretty small chance of getting into MIT chance as well. The more you practice, the luckier you get. Luck really has nothing to do with it. Good luck tho with that intense girls ECNL film study tho.

So what was the reason then?

Loudoun's the biggest money grab club around the DMV area. For the amount of kids that show up for their tryouts, their top teams are not that competitive against their equals, especially U13 and up. Their lower teams do better for that exact same reason, more resources.

As for development, zero. Why bother when you have so many kids to choose from every year and can offer a "backup option" ECNL program.

My ECNL daughter is getting her school paid for by a "subpar" academic school. I will take that extra $120,000 and apply it to the stock market where it will make me more money. My ECNL daughter will then marry your MIT son and help him pay off his 120,000 debt for the next 20 years. Anytime he's feeling down, my ECNL daughter will go into his closet and grabbed that medal and remind him that he was once a state champion.

Chin up, son

I'm not jaded. I'm pissed. At you. Because of your behavior. So are the other 50 people who are posting well informed reports of your behavior. Only somebody living in a fantasy world can log in to a message board and discover that half the northern virginia soccer world is upset with the way they have behaved on dozens of different occasions - and then try and blame it on the victims of their sociopathic behavior.

Look in the mirror - if it doesn't crack when you do.

What a great deal for all the kids on both clubs who will now sit at home instead of playing a game of soccer this weekend so Loudoun (the club) can claim they beat Arlington. Way to put club before kids yet again.

Loudoun - half the people are from the northeast and bring their rude ways with them

Your subjective opinion is laughable at best.

A) It’s irrelevant where people come from.
B) it’s relevant that Loudoun is a club with no ethics or morals. Stealing people’s money is miserable and petty - avoiding a reschedule to grab a win is pathetic and lame.
C) the numbers dont lie. Across the board, regardless of league (ECNL, CCL, NCSL) you produce losing teams. At an average of 5 teams per age group and gender from U9 to U19 you’re looking at roughly 100 squads. You need one hand only to count ‘successful’ teams. That’s both sad and humiliating. (>10%)
D) all that matters is that parents keep maintaining a handful of individuals’ bills and mortgages.

Maybe so. However, they live rent free in your head. So there's that

-white coach who left after seeing this and multiple other issues that have been thoroughly exposed (and more of course that have not).

Really. The black guy that runs ECNL girls is racist? Hmmm..... troll alert.

The racism witnessed came from white directors. Now, if you’re referring to Mo H I dont know about his stand on racism. I do know he hits on women (w/ his now divorced friend Roberto P) at the coaches Xmas parties despite being married and with kids. So there’s that.
