Arlington asked Loudoun to reschedule some of this weekend's ECNL games from Saturday to Sunday because of the state cup semi-finals. Loudoun refused because they would prefer to win by forfeit than play the games. What a great deal for all the kids on both clubs who will now sit at home instead of playing a game of soccer this weekend so Loudoun (the club) can claim they beat Arlington. Way to put club before kids yet again.
Loudoun - half the people are from the northeast and bring their rude ways with them
Your subjective opinion is laughable at best. A) It’s irrelevant where people come from. B) it’s relevant that Loudoun is a club with no ethics or morals. Stealing people’s money is miserable and petty - avoiding a reschedule to grab a win is pathetic and lame. C) the numbers dont lie. Across the board, regardless of league (ECNL, CCL, NCSL) you produce losing teams. At an average of 5 teams per age group and gender from U9 to U19 you’re looking at roughly 100 squads. You need one hand only to count ‘successful’ teams. That’s both sad and humiliating. (>10%) D) all that matters is that parents keep maintaining a handful of individuals’ bills and mortgages.
Maybe so. However, they live rent free in your head. So there's that
