The fact that law enforcement has released such little information about this case tells me that they already know who did it, ie: the husband. They just need more proof.

There has been no information about what she might be wearing, when she was last seen or confirmed to be alive, and nothing from their adult daughters. If they thought she might have been kidnapped or went off to kill herself, they would've shared more information.

Agreed. They usually hold off releasing pertinent details while they focus on the suspect. Having done so since Day 1 - has to be the husband.

Could also easily see a neighbor being a suspect.

I'd think they'd be more obvious in having an interest in the husband to make "the neighbor" feel like they're not looking at him.

But I have been puzzled by the report that a neighbor reported her missing. Who is this person and how did they know Suzanne had not only gone for a bike ride but then never came back?

Pretty sure the neighbor in question here is an elderly woman.

He owns a crappy looking hot dog stand-looking place. The only way he could pay his home and for her $1.5M home as well was if he was laundering money through it.

Hardly. One of her siblings took over that business years ago. Her dad is a retired farmer, he was heavily invested in land, trees and forests, and recently helped fund the establishment of a CBD products business - products made from the oil from a strain of the cannabis/hemp plant, which the business grows locally on the site of an old car factory. It’s run by one of his grandsons. https://saintgene.co/about-saintgene/
The old guy and her family are well known around these parts.

And then there’s her mother who split from the father and married the widowed town doctor before he died. Her family aren’t short order cooks and hicks from the sticks, y’all.

It's the pot.

So as you can see, the pot is in Indiana not Colorado lol

Why on earth?

It's always the freaking husband. But I would love to be wrong.

Updates:

The daughters contacted the neighbor when they couldn't reach their mom on Mother's Day. Then the neighbor called the police.
The Colorado house has been searched and the husband hasn't been allowed back in.
Now law enforcement is searching a construction site where Barry Morphew was laying dirt.

I don't understand why husbands do this. Really, you couldn't think of another way to go on with life without your wife, except to kill her?

No divorce?

No just fade off and go somewhere else?

No just kill yourself?

Why do they have to kill someone?

Why do they always try to do the body dumps where they work? So obvious.

Because Suzanne has all the money and this loser would have been broke without her inheritance

He's 52. The neighbor who called the police is 70.

Wow, what a tool.

The property owner confirmed to CBS4’s Rick Sallinger that Suzanne’s husband was hired to lay dirt on the riverfront land, located east of Salida.

The owner of the property told CBS4’s Rick Sallinger that he has known Barry Morphew for three weeks. The river front property was undergoing improvement. Concrete was laid over the dirt.

The property owner has told others that investigators have been using an x-ray type device to try to see through the concrete.
