Wisconsin Battleground state will result in deaths

Huge absentee numbers in Dane and Milwaukee. Bye-bye GOP judge.

Yes, this will boomerang on them big time. They’ll lose the key state supreme court race and be screwed going forward.

I really fcking hope so. This is a grotesque display by the GOP of how little they care for people's lives. As if we hadn't seen enough of that prior to now - but this isn't something you can spin.

Fingers crossed.

Vos is such a douchebag. Look at him taking valuable PPE from first responders, like a big p#ssy.

Well, currently the court is at a 5-2 conservative majority, so even if they lose today they won’t be screwed...

What was with the John Lewis endorsement today?

Isn’t Biden set to clobber Bernie already? Seemed like a desperate last minute card to pull — and wholly unnecessary based on all the polls.

Voters will remember this day and Republican candidates will be voted out in droves.

You think John Lewis's endorsement seemed "desperate"? In what way was it "desperate"?

Lewis isn't in Wisconsin - you know that, right?

I live in Wisconsin and have kind of given up on my fellow Democrats to go out and vote, TBH. In December 2018, we had that whole big thing where the Republican legislature passed lame duck laws to limit incoming governor Tony Evers’ powers. We heard the same thing: “DEMOCRATS WILL NEVER FORGET THIS”, “this is going to backfire on Republicans, we’ll vote them out in force”....but then literally four months later, during the 2019 spring election, we sat on our butts while Republicans went out and voted in a radically right Supreme Court justice. If we would’ve won that one, we’d be fighting for a majority on the Supreme Court today. Wisconsin politics are just crazy. Who knows what’ll happen.

Trump says vote for Kelly and the long lines and health threats are the Democrats fault.

I assume if people die they cannot sue judges/legislators b/c public official immunity, but the state could be sued by paid poll workers who are compelled to work and die? Most poll workers are old, so could be many deaths. Just disgusting.

What a disgrace! Allowing this election to go on simply means there are no adults in the room. Justice Roberts should have taken off his gown and said “people’s health must triumph”.

Lewis isn't in Wisconsin - you know that, right?

Democrats are endorsing the presumptive Democratic nominee. That’s like the least newsworthy item of the day.

Bernie Bros don’t get that the world has moved on front Bernie; they still think this a primary.
