the positive Bachelor guy has been taking it, as well as the guy from Lost.
All these celebrities are getting meds to take once they are positive, and seems like the rest of us are just sent home with nothing |
| so everyone is clamoring for a drug that is totally useless if not extremely dangerous. weird. |
We have 3 confirmed covid cases in my zip code, and the one pharmacist I talked to said she received 800 scripts for it the day after trump tweeted, and there is no more in stock in our county. So who is writing the scripts, then? It’s the doctors. The pharmacists told me she thinks the doctors are writing it for themselves and their families. Is that a conspiracy theory? Who is getting this medicine? |
why does it matter? it’s a totally unproven treatment and everyone knows trump is an idiot. |
What part of the elite gets what they need first do people not understand? That's why so many of them love socialism - it puts them on the top of the heap. |
Ah, you are like my husband. I asked him if he wanted me to tell the docs to try it if he's very sick. He was all "well, I want to read about it, President lies, blah blah blah". I said "no problem, I'll tell them you don't want treatment" I assume you would stick to your values as well - President lies so no therapy for you! |
Because I use it for Sjogrens/RA and cant get any now. |
Oncologists do this all the time - new therapies for terminal patients. It's easy to sit in a chair well and make your profound sounding statements. Try that from a hospital bed when you can't breathe. |
So don't OD on it. |
My mom could not pay out of pocket. She has 60 days left. I hope those doctors who wrote hundreds of scripts for healthy Trumpsters get their licenses yanked. |
it sounds like you don’t want it to work so that you have more for yourself. |
| A good friend of mine has Lupus and can’t get a refill because all of the pharmacies are out of it. She said one place told her that a dentist prescribed it for his entire family and all of his friends. They (the CVS) refused to fill those prescriptions. I really hope they report him. Now my poor friend won’t get her medicine in time just because our jackhole president gave misleading advice. |

Although this is considered generally a "safe" drug, I personally had an extremely serious reaction to it that required hospitalization. I was prescribed it by my rheumatologist, and he did warn me that while serious reactions weren't common, they were possible. Boy, are they possible!
Like someone said earlier on, it's not like popping a couple of Advil. |

These drugs can cause permanent vision damage- and that is isn’t going to show up right away.
Plaquenil is known to be a slow acting drug for lupus. They may be using very high doses for Covid and no one knows the long term effects |
