Can anyone comment on how the MU ID sessions have been so far particularly the 2008 Girls? Were there any talented girls attend?

Also, what exactly do the coaches make the girls do at this ID sessions? What type of drills do they do to determine talent?

Please don’t bash me or MU as I’m just trying to learn. My DD has never been to any ID sessions before. Thank you.

best thing is check out it for yourself because someone will comment and never have been there. FCV has a bad 2008 team and doesn't want anyone to attend MU. FCV being a top is over, Arlington has a strong 08 team and MU will have a pretty good one which leaves FCV in the dust

FCV will always have strong DA teams.

There is no reason to believe FCV 08 DA won’t be good as well.

Except that the FCV 07 team was always good and competitive with top teams, the same could never be said for the 08's.

The MU ID session last week had about 60 players attend. This was across 06, 07 and 08 age groups. There have been some talented 08s.

The sessions involve warm up foot skill drills, small sided games and then a larger game / scrimmage.

a lot of people go to these to fish around. you give them and offer and they waffle on it and are looking at multiple options. chances are if a parent is going to a MU tryout, they are also taking them to all of the other tryouts around the area.

Isn’t it pretty early to do tryouts this time of year? I thought most clubs do tryouts in late April or latter.

You are talking about the ID session at Bullis? That sounds to me like a lot of Stoddart kids then, as no one from VA was driving to DC on a weeknight for an ID session....
