Where is chancellor sending his son to school?

But seriously, how many education dept leadership over the years have kids in private schools? All the rest of them. I even feel some sympathy for the last dude because at least he didn't opt out of the public system entirely...

I'm fine with Ferebee's son going to Walls or Wilson. Sorry, but no reprieve for Antwan who specifically told us to put our kids in even the worst IB schools yet he wouldn't do the same.

Ferebee is an upper middle class professional. He bought in a neighborhood that feeds to the best public high school. His kid tested in to a public charter. Not sure why we are shitting on him.

Walls isn’t a charter, but I agree otherwise.

This is a refreshing level of transparency.

He was being shat on for other unrelated reasons. Indeed I now feel a bit more respect, knowing this info. I still think he’s not up to the task at hand which is admittedly massive and requires unusual strength and independence from the mayor which he does not have.

He has already proven that with the JO Wilson debacle.

+1 Agreed. Paul Kihn's (head of DME) kids go to private school, and the principal of Bancroft sends his kids to Maret.
