How to attract a wealthy man?

Anonymous
That doesn't fit my understanding of love being about each helping each other be the best they can be. There would need to be more admiration. The hot and sweet is a relationship based on "service" and "ego." I hope not all men think that is worthy about women. That's patriarchy on steroids.

Wild card for sure. Over 35, divorced, family baggage, not from money or attended any prestigious schools...

I’m sure his family is thrilled with his choice. Though their opinion doesn’t matter much.

It’s well established that he suffers from mental illness. You need different traits to attract a wealthy man with mental illness than you do an emotionally healthy wealthy man. For the latter type, you need to be in the same social circles. If you’re not born wealthy, you can get there if you’re smart, work hard and end up in the same professional circles.

Newsflash a lot of wealthy men have mental health issues. You just don’t know because there personal life hasn’t been covered by the press their entire lives. But there have been a number of studies about the prevalence of certain personality disorders amongst successful business people.

Be wealthier than he is.

Men generally like to marry women who have more than they do to marry.

Men also choose women who have less... as side chicks or long term “play wives” in so called long term NSA relationships.

Truth hurts.

What bizarro world are you living in? Men generally do not grade a girlfriend on the size of her paycheck at proposal time.

Not at proposal time, because they will have figured that out by then

Don't get a fancy college degree at an expensive school if you have to take out loans to do so. That is the new anti-dowry and men will run away

Do change your religion to his

I don’t believe a man wrote this.

Think about it. What independently wealthy person wouldn’t want to double or triple their assets, all other things being equal (looks, education, etc) . When I think of most people I know who married after 25/30, the female generally was better positioned financially (whether that be a trust fund, her own financial independence, or access to inherited wealth.)

This has not been the case in my friend circle at all. You’d be surprised at how many men like to be able to tell their in laws (usually FILs) to eff off because they don’t need them for an inheritance. And I know even fewer wealthy men who want to deal with a wife that is working all the time.

I guess that you wouldn’t have to work, and you could hire people to help you take care of your children and your home. But working, taking care of my children, and creating a home is what gives married life purpose and meaning. Clothes, parties, and designer kitchens are the fluff on the side. Why would you purposefully look for a life where you cut out the meaning and focus on the fluff?

This. Who cares what wealthy men want? Are you really going to dedicate your life to being whatever that is? Does that sound like a good life?

Does he view women like shiny new sports cars? Are most men like that?

I think most men are like that. As long as she's hot, acts sweet, and enthusiastic in bed, they don't care how intelligent or accomplished she is.

I'll bite as I fit the stereotype above, but my hot girlfriend is also intelligent and fun to talk to. It's so funny how people perpetuate the false stereotype that attractive = dumb.

When I date women who make a show of their accomplishments, all they want to talk about is their boring career, all of the people they have meetings or conference calls with that are supposed to be impressive with their title of Deputy Director of Bullshit, and their beyond basic political opinions that are so obviously cribbed from what other people said on social media.

How can you judge based off the scant description you have provided here? The only negative personality trait you listed is "less intelligent" - but maybe she is caring, loving, sweet, personable. Even less intelligent, less accomplished women deserve love.

Rules are different if the wealthy man is (a) extremely stupid, and (b) a mangina.

Yep. He’s mentally ill, could barely finish high school, and is the type who lets her control him.

Meghan and Harry both come from incredibly, INCREDIBLY dysfunctional families. Harry’s dad was openly cheating on his mother the entire marriage. His mother had me taking illness, threw herself down the stairs, had her own affair, treated the boys as confidants instead of children, openly disparaged their father on TV, etc. Meghan’s messes up dad and half siblings and crazies.

Yeah that’s a sound foundation right there.

This is true; they both have hillbilly elegy levels of divorce and dysfunction in their families.

Harry's dad wanted to be the tampon of his ugly AF horse- faced whoring adultress mistress. How romantic! He wanted to be in a bloody Kunt!!! Andrew is a pedophile and has slept with underaged prostituted girls. William cheated on his wife with some skinny ass aristocrat. Margaret was a lush who slept around because she could not be queen.

I think Harry was smart to move out from that low class "royal" family.

When I wrote "shows that asset off to the world" I am referring to someone marketing herself like a porn star in social media and dating sites as her main asset, that being the primary main asset. Maybe that "works" for many couples AND they are happy.

For me, that prevalence in many male-female mating "markets" says A LOT. And none of it is good.
