Also, the lies he told Congress benefitted Trump. If he had told the truth back then, Trump would be in jail by now.

You all act like this has never happened before. Criminals turn state's evidence all the time. This is nothing new, and if it's good enough to get convictions elsewhere, it's good enough here.
