Even better, I walk! |
Well gee, who can argue with such fine logic? Fetal bacon syndrome is a scourge on society. |
Some idiot is going to come in with a comment on obesity. 3, 2, 1... |
You guys both suck so hard and have made this thread completely useless. Congratulations. |
Did you think this thread was useful at this point? Lol. |

Wow Op. You need a psychiatrist, not alcohol.
I feel terribly sorry for your baby. Please get yourself under control before you give birth. |
I didn’t drink at all during pregnancy and my son has ADHD, so don’t blame yourself. |
|
"Blame" after the fact does no one any good.
Thing is, we should be doing our best going forward, and maybe even help others learn from our mistakes. |
| OP HERE looks like some people missed my update so hopefully that gets their attention. I found out I was pregnant at 3w6d and have drank no more than 5-6 times since then. I am in my second trimester. When I drank it was 7oz of wine MAX. Sometimes just 3 oz. One time it was a beer. DH recently started antidepressants. He knows he needs to be very careful about drinking now that he's taking them. Thanks for the concern though. I have other relaxation strategies, drinking was one of the not so healthy ones. |
| Look up Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and wrap your feeble mind around the fact that this is what you're doing to your child. |
This exactly. Please do not consume alcohol while growing your baby. |
How many weeks are you? Are you drinking 1 glass of wine a week? You are either lying or your post was not clear (probably on purpose). 1 glass of wine per week is probably totally fine. My ob encourages it (I never drink pregnant or not). One glass per day or per meal Is probably not ok. Just try not to be selfish and think about your baby. Your DH is an ass and not ready yet to be a father... the stress and tiredness will only increase |
Wrap your feeble mind around this: Pre 70s, most moms smoked and drank throughout their pregnancies. As in martinis and gin and tonics. And yet, there wasn't a huge drop in kids with special needs. In fact, there's a small rise in the overall rate because of ASD. |
|
Special needs children are definitely on the rise.
Please care for your children.... They need responsible parents who love them. |
Correlation does not equal causation. There are many other differences between the 70s and today... medicines (before and during pregnancy), birth control pills, pollution, food quality in general, etc... Also the diagnosis of ASD is much better known today than it was and parents are more aware. |
