Or someone daughter that had been cut.

Nope, my daughter is on the team. It’s disorgamized and everyone knows that. It’s still a good program or they wouldn’t have interest. They just need help running it.

This can be said about pretty much any club team, irregardless of sport.

Well no, of course that’s not true. Not every club team is poorly run. Some are and some aren’t. Some have great coaches and bad admin. Some have great admin and mediocre coaches. Some have great parents and some don’t. It runs the gamut. Just like anything else. Stars has very poor admin.
Your inability to accept even the slightest constructive criticism is suspect.

That is my comment and I have nothing to do with Stars. It has been my observation that most clubs aren’t particularly welll organized, I have no knowledge personally of Stars.

My daughter plays for Stars and it is true that their email inbox is like a black hole. We rarely get a timely response to emails, if we get any response at all. It feels like the club is not a priority for the directors anymore. It is extremely frustrating.

BecauseI enjoy the crazy, and along with the Capitals thread, makes me very happy that we don’t live in Virginia, and that the parents at my dd’s team are sane.

Stars used to have just 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams. Even then, the club didn't have the best administration. Now, they've expanded all the way down to the 3rd grade level without improving anything to support the additional players, so the priority for the directors nowadays seems to be just collecting the club fees.

Sadly I believe that is accurate. It might be a result of when they held tryouts, but in my DD year they didnt make any cuts and lost players to other teams over the last couple of years.

does anyone have any insight into how they treat the black teams? My daughter is now on black and has heard that all the resources and efforts go to the blue team. Any experiences? Is the black team just to get more money to support blue?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "all the resources"? Are you referring to the number of practices, number of coaches, access to training, etc.? Or are the resources related to the level of the tournaments each team plays in or the coaching experience? It's not clear what you are asking about.

As an M&D parent, I love watching the hair wringing and cattiness over a club that hopefully sends their daughter to High Point.
