It is that dusty rose color that is the "it" color this year but looks so bad on everyone except very pale redheads or very pale blondes.

I think it's pretty obvious why they got married--Meghan was approaching middle-age and took the best option for boosting her status and Harry was getting desperate. Not only was he approaching the age where most men are already married (like his brother and friends), but he needed to lock down a wife soon or else the speculation about him being gay would get too loud.
